Among the material we use into our maths lessons, we have some traditional games that we use, not only because our pupils enjoy playing, but also, because they are a way of learning and acquiring different knowledge.

2. Object of the game.

​

​The object of the game is to be the first person to get to the end of the journey.

​

​

3. How to play.

​​

• Throw the dice, count the dice and move your counter as many squares as the dice says.

​

• If your counter lands on a Goose, move your counter to the next Goose and throw the dice again. In Spanish is said: "De oca a oca y tiro porque me toca".

​

• If your counter lands on the bridge, move your counter to the other bridge of the board and throw the dice again. In Spanish is said: "De puente a puente y tiro porque me lleva la corriente".

​

• If you land on the Labyrinth, you miss a turn.

​

• If you land on the Prison, you will have to miss three turns while you are behind bars. 

​

• If you land on Dead, you have to go back to square 1 and start all over again!

​

• To win you must reach square 63 exactly. If your dice roll is more than you need then you move in to square 63 and then bounce back out again.

​

​When you land on square 63 exactly you are the winner!
