Melina Mercouri

​

Maria Amalia "Melina" Mercouri (1920 – 1994) was a Greek actress, singer, and politician. She received an Oscar nomination and won a Cannes Film Festival Award for her performance in the 1960 film Never on Sunday. Mercouri was also nominated for three Golden Globes and two BAFTA Awards in her acting career.

Nikos Engonopoulos   (1907-1985) was a Greek painter and poet.

Yannis Tsarouchis   (1910-1989) was a Greek painter.

Pantelis Thalassinos is a Greek singer and songwriter.

Aliki Vougiouklaki (1934 –  1996) was a Greek actress, best known for her films and theatrical plays, and theatrical producer.

Mario Frangoulis  is a Greek tenor vocalist of mixed Rhodesian-Zimbabwean origin. Frangoulis is a highly acclaimed recording artist in Greece and neighbouring countries, but he rose to international prominence with his hit song, "Vincerò, Perderò". He sings in Italian, Spanish, English, French, and Greek and is fluent in all five languages.

Giorgos Katsaros is a famous Greek musician and songwriter.
